Founded eight years ago by Amy Joyce, a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, AJP offers a thoughtful, science-led approach to Pilates. Amy completed her Bachelor’s degree in Sports, Exercise and Health Science at Loughborough University, followed by a Master’s in Physiotherapy. She has worked across a range of clinical settings—including orthopaedics, paediatrics, neurology, and musculoskeletal care—within both the NHS and private sector.

Now specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Amy continues to practise privately alongside running AJP Pilates. With additional training from the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute), she brings a clinically informed, inclusive approach to Pilates—tailoring movement to suit all ages, abilities, and goals.

Having competed as a national swimmer, Amy understands first-hand what it takes to recover from injury, rebuild confidence, and pursue meaningful goals—whether athletic, therapeutic, or personal. That experience shapes her physiotherapy-led approach, where movement is clinically informed, individually tailored, and designed to support long-term wellbeing.

Outside the studio, Amy enjoys time with her husband and two children, cycling through the countryside near the Suffolk–Essex border, running local trails, and exploring the outdoors.

Whether you're new to Pilates or returning to the mat, you'll be met with expert guidance and support.
